Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique based on the (scientifically proven) premise that there is a Universal Life Energy in all living things. The Usui System of Reiki healing applies this energy through touch for the purpose of healing. A Reiki treatment supports the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects. It works in conjunction with other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

On a physical level Reiki helps decrease pain, accelerate healing, relax muscles and diminish the effects of burns and bruises. On a mental and emotional level anxiety is reduced, a sense of well-being increased and another level of relaxation felt. At this degree of deep relaxation a rebalancing of energies occurs and the natural healing ability of the body is enhanced.

If you have been fortunate to receive a Reiki treatment you will know that it feels like an amazing glowing radiance flowing through and around your body.

Through the wonderful training and guidance of my mentor and Reiki Master, Joanne Antoun I am a certified Reiki 2 Practitioner conducting treatments in Yarraville, Melbourne.

Treatments last from 50 mins to one hour and include a debrief. The charge for a session is $100.

  1. I am a huge believer in the healing power of Reiki (after initially poo-poo-ing it). I only have my Level 1 at this stage but I’ll make it one of my goals to carry on with this training this year !
